1996 MAZDA MX-6 - Great Condition + 5 Months MOT

A very good example of the classic and rare Mazda MX-6 sports coupe, with a comprehensive service history and 5-months MOT.

This car is a manual with black leather interior, alloy wheels and air conditioning. It is a joy to drive, with responsive handling and the very smooth and torquey KL-DE 2.5 DOHC V6 engine (164 bhp).

The car is mechanically sound and has always been reliable - the cambelt, auxillary belt and fan belt were all renewed back in 2015 (less than 3,000 miles done since). It has been kept garaged for much of its life, so the bodywork is in good overall condition with no signs of rust. There are a few minor marks and a bit of lacquer peel in places though. The rear spoiler is also a little faded and has slight paint cracking (a quick polish usually brings it back up though). The alloy wheels are in decent condition, although the centre logo is quite faded.

The interior is in good condition (smoke, child & pet free), although the leather on the driver's seat bolster is quite worn. The original MX-6 mats are fitted and in excellent condition. Unfortunately the passenger side electric window stopped working recently - I think the switch in the driver's door needs replacing. The Clarion stereo and CD changer are still working well.

The car has been off the road since Dec. 2015 (I live in London and haven't had much need for it), but it has been stored in a dry garage and started/checked regularly. I was hoping to drive it again one day, but I cannot keep it indefinitely and have reluctantly decided it is better for it to go to a good home and see the open road again! The car is now kept at my mother's house, near Fareham, so I can only do weekend viewings, please call me to arrange.
