MAZDA Rx7 26b 4 Rotor

Mazda Rx7 N/A 26b 4 rotor, one and only running road legal 4 rotor in the country. This is my 3rd FD I've owned, and built numerous 13b,20b engines in my previous cars. The 4 rotor was my biggest challenge and current dyno'd just shy of 500bhp. It's an incredible smooth power curve being naturally aspirated. The car was built more for track use than road, but it is Mot and insured.

So due to a change in circumstances and a major house project my pride and Joy which has taken me many years to build is up for sale. The car is complete, been on the road for 2years now, but unfortunately only covered around 2000miles from build. And this past year only managed 250miles.

Due to the build of this car, pretty much everything engine related was custom built.

Spec list

Engine 4 rotor 26b block, crank and engine plates bought from New Zealand. 4x rx8 rotors machined to accept rx7 apex seals. Rotors lightened and assembly balance. Rotor housings are 4 peripheral ported to 48mm. Custom made oil sump, 4 external oil pressure lines and external regulator set to 120psi. 4x ITB 55mm. Excedy lightened flywheel and clutch.

Exhaust is a work of art thanks to TGS tunning. 4 to 1 runners, equal length. 3inch back to 3 silences with electronic active exhaust valve for by pass straight pipe. Twin centre exit exhaust pipes. Sounds just like a 787B

Fuel system consists of 4x1300cc I.d injectors. 2 walbro 255 fuel pumps. Fuel cell mounted in the boot, with two shut off valves. Fuel lab pressure regulator inline with a fuel cooler.

Custom oil pan 10litres, 13b oil pump with 2x 30row oil coolers. Direct oil feeds to the bearings.

ECU adaptronic M6000, 8x AEM smart coil packs, 8x custom ignition leads

Davies Water pump and digital controller, 100mm aluminium radiator. Electric power steering pump.

The car body is a 1993 shell, rust free, the car has always since my ownership been garaged, shell mileage 106242KM .

HSD coil overs, 17" buddy club wheels. Toyo R888r tyres practically brand new.

K-sport 8 pot 330mm brakes from. New redstuff pads on the rear.

The car spec is huge, it has been a massive project and learning curve.
