CL 65 AMG the V12 Twin Turbo Flagship model

For sale my much loved and cared for CL65 this is the V12 twin turbo model of which there are only 23 registered in the UK.

The car has a full Mercedes Benz main dealer service history and has been serviced at Brooklands Mercedes in my ownership.

Last service at 51119 miles and of course a clear health check.

All MOT's tally to warrant the current mileage of 52062 miles as does the electronic service history record.

Please note the £36,000 asking price is for the car without the £7500 Vossen Alloy wheels or the £1500 Renntech electronic lowering module.

I am prepared to sell the car with both for an additional £5000* it is the buyers choice as they are both desirable options that will sell separately if need be. The 7th photograph illustrates the standard wheels just after being refurbished, as can be seen they are like new.

The number plate is not included in the sale.

Anyone who knows anything about these cars know exactly what you get performance wise from this 600 BHP + flying machine. If you google CL65 and find Evo's Jethro Bovingdon review it just about sums this car up.

The car is absolutely immaculate and like brand new inside and out, please note this is not dealerspeak but an accurate statement.

I spent ages trying to find a car in Iridium Silver with the black wood trim and a leather rather than wood steering wheel. As the photos show the quilted leather is immaculate.

As standard these cars have the cooled/vented seats which are lovely on a long journey on a hot day.

In my ownership the car has recorded an average of 18 MPG regardless of how you drive it.

Up until recently the car had a protective clear film to prevent stone chips on the bonnet, the front area and wings. I had the bonnet film removed a while ago but it still remains on the other areas. I have kept the car as did the previous owner with a no expense spared attitude and I'm sure it shows.

The car has a 5 star warranty with the WMS/VGS until 6/5/2020 and I understand this is transferrable if sold to a private individual. I will check and confirm this. I've found it very good when a coil pack driver needed replacing I contacted them, got the work done and got a cheque the next day to cover the cost. Obviously there are items not covered but it does cover as many items as required with up to £1000 limit per claim.

* If a serious buyer comes forward with a decent offer there may be a bit of room for negotiation on the overall price if the car is bought with the Vossens and the lowering module.

I have documented my ownership experience of this car in the Readers Cars section titled 'CL65 a fast barge'. My idea was to give any potential owners an accurate overall picture of running these superb cars, mainly because prior to buying it I'd read all sorts of horror stories about ownership costs. My conclusion is buy a good one and you have a car that never disappoints in any way whatsoever.

The last owner had a Quaiffe limited slip diff fitted by Birds, and very good it is too.

Genuine reason for sale as I'm negotiating the purchase of an expensive older car and need the cash to go towards its purchase.

Just a short note, when I sold my SL63 last year I had a number of couples who were obviously just out for a days fun to look at and get a ride in cars they couldn't afford.

I've got wise to that now and also dealers phoning up and offering insulting figures.
