Description

A Porsche 944 Turbo Cup that is in remarkable and original condition. There is no evidence of any significant accident damage, despite the car being campaigned with some considerable success.

The car even retains its space saver tyre, jack and tools.

In 2017, a comprehensive service was undertaken by Porsche Italy (€3800) which included belts, water pump and a full service.

A significant car that has and will be invited to many Worldwide period race series and events.

Provenance

There is a memo from the dealer principal who in 1988 bought this car directly from Porsche, with only 400KM showing and confirms that the car was used for the 1988 parade lap at the start of that years Cup series, driven by Hans Joachim Stuck.

He bought the car for an Italian gentleman, who had asked him to find a perfect Porsche 944 Turbo Cup.

The car went to Italy, where it was raced by the Father and then his two sons. The car was by then part of the family and following its retirement from the racing scene, was road registered and used by the Father until 2017.
