Sorry Now Sold!! TVR built just over 200 TVR Sagaris. The number still registered or SORN’d in the UK is now down to 112. Special examples of these works of automotive art are either very affordable supercars or, alternatively, potential future heirlooms – or perhaps both!

The Sagaris on offer is an exceptional example. Peninsula TVR registered RX55 YGG for its first owner on 1 Sep 05. The vehicle’s second owner searched for years before purchasing the car - then 4 years old - in perfect technical and immaculately prepared condition. It had just 7,844 miles on the odometer.

Meticulous preparation over the next 2 years ensured this Sagaris reached full concours condition - whilst covering just 717 miles in that time. The second owner’s circumstances having changed, Str8six found a new owner on his behalf, who took delivery on Christmas Eve 2011.

The third owner kept the vehicle in the same immaculate condition, and drove it only 386 miles, before Str8six agreed to purchase the car - enabling him (perhaps ?) to step down to a Ferrari !

The car was then purchased by its fourth owner on 17 Aug 12 with 8,948 miles on the clock. Like his predecessors, he cherished the car. He put only 2,500 miles per annum on the car during his 26 months of ownership - before selling it to Str8six and buying a Chameleon Green T350 from us.

We sold the car to its most recent owner to add to his collection of TVRs, which already included a Sagaris. But he wanted a lower mileage example so that he could put more miles on his first, Laser Blue example without his conscience being unduly troubled! He bought his lower mileage Sagaris from us with only 14,013 miles on the clock. Just over 31 months later he decided to part with the car, which now has only 700 more miles on the odometer.

This Sagaris is finished in Chameleon Green with Portland Grey full leather trim, matched by a Grey lamonta headlining. The carpets are Grey with Stone leather binding. The car has air conditioning, its cockpit has the full complement of Leven aluminium components, and it has a Pioneer EEQ MOSFET 50W x 4 Sound System. The car’s 18” Spider alloys are finished in shadow chrome. RX55 YGG has a Top of the Range TRACKER System installed. The most recent owner has had the car protected with - reputedly - the best Paint Protection film that can be obtained..... and the bodywork remains entirely blemish free. He also renewed all 4 tyres when the car was last serviced - less than 200 miles ago !

There cannot be many more Sagaris in the World in this condition. RX55YGG is once again being offered for sale as an investment opportunity. This car was sold to its second owner at 7,844 miles for £32,000 in 2009. The author has already sold this forever mint, green TVR 4 times, and this car has to date - reliably and consistently - proved to be the benchmark standard for Sagaris value, based on its mileage and condition.
