TVR built just over 200 of these exceptionally useable, pocket Supercars before the factory closed in 2006. Quite a few have gone to Europe, some to Japan, some to the Middle East and a few have become racecars. There are probably only some 140 TVR Sagaris left in the World and the number still registered or SORN’d in the UK is now down to 112. Special examples of these cars are holding their value and it is certain that exceptional models will continue to appreciate as the years pass.

When you evaluate the mileage covered, and the technical and cosmetic standard of preparation of SAG 23 (which registration number will stay with this car), then you are looking at “Possibly The Best..... Better than All the Rest“of the Sagaris currently available.

This is an exceptional example of Blackpool TVR’s Halo Sportscar model and one we have been patiently encouraging its owner to offer to us for a number of years ! And there were 3 particular reasons for that ! First, this car is finished in one of the most exceptional colours TVR ever used: Arancio Pearl - (colloquially known as “Lamborghini Orange”! Second , it has had only 2 extremely caring owners. And third, this is one of the lowest mileage Sagaris in existence - having averaged under 900 miles per annum since it left the TVR factory 12 years ago !

The car is in superb condition. The exterior colour has just been addresed by Surface and Design to alleviate a handful of miniature stone chips and it is as perfect as the photos suggest. The interior is factory standard except that Trim Unique have revised the door cards such that they are in Str8six’s Straked design – in black padded leather with orange stitching. The photographs provide a better description than my keyboard can !

London TVR registered this car as V13 ASH for its first owner on 1 Sep 2005 . Within 3 weeks the car had pewter alloys, a full set of Nitrons and a Tracker installed. The car received a centre bonnet catch (for security reasons) the following March. At its Sep 07 service the car’s gearbox was uprated to close ratio specification and the differential was re-built with a 3.9:1 ratio. The first owner then sold the car with some 8,500 miles on the clock to a Jaguar dealership

On 14 May 10, the car was registered to its second owner and it moved from Oxfordshire to North Yorkshire. The new owner covered approximately 1,000 miles during the first year of his tenure and it was at the end of that year that SAG 23 began to come to Str8six for its servicing. But the car was never driven to or from Lewknor. Instead, it was collected from, and delivered back to Doncaster, each year, by our transporter lorry. And the car was serviced scrupulously throughout the next 6 years , when it was hardly being driven at all, because the owner had regrettably encountered heath problems. Indeed , following its last service in March 2016 the car covered just 6 more miles – 3 miles in each direction for its annual MOT Certification.

Ultimately, and with great regret, the second owner asked us if we would like to buy his car because he was clearly not going to drive it as it should be driven in the years to come. When we purchased SAG 23 , the car had covered just 2,120 miles over the preceding 7 years.

And so it is that we are now able to offer this beautiful Sagaris to a third, very lucky owner for £10,000 less than the price at which TVR Manufacturing Ltd is selling this car’s successor, the TVR Griffith, to a new generation of TVR owners. And it may well be that the new Les Edgar/ Gordon Murray Griffith will not be available until 2 years hence……. Is this the car you should choose to enjoy until the Griffith finally arrives, and to keep as an investment thereafter ?

This Sagaris does of course have air conditioning, its cockpit has the full complement of Leven aluminium components, and it has a Pioneer EEQ MOSFET 50W x 4 Sound System playing through NXT speakers – manufactured by a company with which Steve Jobs was involved. The car’s 18” Spider alloys are finished in tungsten anthracite and they are , like the car’s bodywork, entirely unmarked.

The car will be supplied with Str8six’s renowned “All the 12’s“ handover specification. This includes a comprehensive 12K with valve clearance service and 12 Months MOT. It will also benefit from Str8six’s own 12 mths/12,000 miles “Full Wear and Tear” warranty covering parts and labour on the whole car. . It will have a 12 Volt trickle charger and an Anderson Cable supplied and it will come with its own “Specialised Covers” indoor car cover.

SAG23 is equipped with an RAC Trackstar Plus vehicle tracking system.
