Remember this Title and the words that follow ? Yes, this is the second time that Str8six has offered this very desirable TVR for sale ! And this time, we are just one week ahead of the launch of the Les Edgar generation of TVRs which, in our opinion, will have a very positive effect on the values of TVRs built at Blackpool in the Peter Wheeler/Nikolai Smolenski eras.

And one of the models which is destined to be a true collectable is the Tuscan Mk1 - especially in the 4.0S configuration !

And if you buy a thoroughbred Greyhound with a pedigree like this car, then you can expect it to come with all the bells and whistles, collars and blankets – and it does.

When new in 2002, this car retailed at just over £50,000. And since then, a number of worthwhile upgrades have been incorporated.

But first, the OE factory specification ! The exterior is finished in Iced Titanium and this beauty’s sleek coat is in remarkably fine condition. It is complemented by a splendid, predominantly black, half hide interior. Everything is either in black leather, ambla, lamonta or black carpet set off by Nimbus Grey Stitching. Features include Nimbus grey binding to the carpets (even in the fully carpeted boot), and Silver-painted seat backs.

Let’s now check the list of useful improvements which have been added since the car’s initial handover ! Nimble handling has been ensured by the installation of Nitron dampers with Eibach springs. “Night Vision” is improved by the High Intensity Discharge Light Installation ! The car is sure-footed too – running on immaculate shadow chrome Spider alloys, fitted with metal valves, retained by a set of stainless steel “Shiny Nuts” and further improved by a wheel spacer kit. These wheels are shod with Toyo Proxes T1 R tyres.

The car is equipped with Air Conditioning, and there are Leven stainless steel components fitted, as well as shiny chrome and red Tuscan S kickplates and polished Stainless Rear Window retainers. This TVR Greyhound even has the very rare, very desirable, fast-action bootlid “pop up” kit installed. This makes opening the boot really easy - despite the proximity of the rear spoiler !

The car’s ICE system has been upgraded three times now! The latest iteration is an Alpine CDE-183BT which incorporates Alpine Tuneit App compatability for iPhone and Android based phones. This allows full sound tuning and sharing via your phone , as well as new Facebook message alerts. It also has built-in Bluetooth giving hands free car phone operation. The system plays through upgraded JC Audio 400 and 525 speakers.

But we digress….. more importantly for TVR afficionados, “Gorgeous Greyhound” has a strong and reliable heart - following a full engine rebuild carried out by TVR Power 20,000 miles ago. Needless to say, this is also the real music source in the car and, having had an exhaustive and full health check carried out by Str8six, it is now warranted by Str8six for a further 12 months !

This Tuscan will of course be supplied with Str8six’s renowned “All the 12’s” handover schedule completed. This will include the most recent 6K service brought up to full 12K specification, a meticulous pre sale Pre-Delivery Inspection, 12 mths MOT, Str8six’s class-leading 12 Mths/12,000 miles Full wear and tear warranty (covering parts and labour on the whole car), a 12 volt trickle charger and an Anderson Jump Start lead. And this car is even supplied with a Specialised Covers Interior Car Cover to help preserve its beautiful appearance !
