Volkswagen LUPO GTI 125BHP 2002

If you are reading my ad then I will assume you are looking for a Lupo GTi so know all the standard spec so I'll cut to the chase on what you really want to know.

It is in Raven Blue, which is a rare colour for these and is a UK car (not an import) and of course has the 6 speed box.

This little car has belonged to my Sister in Law since it was 2 years old so she is the 2nd owner. The car has only covered 59k miles which can be backed up by the MOT and service history. This will not increase as an Audi A1 has been bought to replace it.

The car has a full service history, starting off with VW in its early years but once they closed the local dealership, she started taking it to a local VW specialist garage. Although it is low mileage, it was service annually so the service book is actually full so the history moves onto photocopied sheets. The car comes with 12 months MOT as of last week.

As you would expect, the car has never been modified and comes exactly as it should with the only exception being the shockers that had to be replaced due to old age with non-genuine ones.

The car is in excellent condition as I am sure you will see from the photos. All panels are original and it has never been resprayed. You could count the number of stone chips on the front end of this car on 1 hand and there are of course no scuffs or scratches.

The interior is immaculate with no wear on the seat bolsters as you often find in older VW cars. As you will expect, everything works as it should inside and has the usual elec windows, mirrors and Sunroof.

I am super fussy about cars when I go to buy them so here is what I wish people would tell me before I go to view a car. The bottom of the front wings on both side have a little bubbling of the paint (I've tried to capture the worst one in the photo). This is common with a Lupo but it currently isn't bad enough to merit paint as then it would take away the originality of the car in my opinion. The boot handle as it is the same as a Mk4 Golf, needs rubbed down and repainted as the paint bubbles off the alloy as you will see on most Mk4s. There is 1 car park ding on the rear arch, the rest of the car has escaped careless people which is mainly down to how carefully the current owner is a selecting a parking spot.

If you want the car then it is £5500. It is a well loved and cared for little car and to be honest if it doesn't sell then it can be popped back into it's garage and will be kept for a while as I am sure it will become most collectable in the future.
