Sorry if this has been asked on PH before. For a form - nothing to do with driving - I need to put the last 4 digits of my UK licence number. When I search on line I get advice that includes the final two digits after the space and also that it doesn't. Anyone know?
Cheers.

The last 2 digits, that are separate from the main number, are the issue number. So ignore them for this request.

When I do DBS checks for people it asks for the last 4 digits which includes the 2 after the space, so the answer has to be “it depends”.

Cheers. Hence, when I go on line I get advice both ways. Ruddy typical! laugh

I would say this is a request issue from the DBS. The gov website and docs state the list 2 are not part of the licence number. Saying that, the OP’s site might want the last 2 biggrin best to ask them I suppose

Point E on this gov PDF states it’s not part of the number

Exactly this. On requests for the full number, there is no room for these last two digits.

Thanks again everyone. Having looked at my paper licence I'm saying that the last two are the "issue number" and on that they are literally in a separate box.

Having said that, the paper licence also has 3 other numbers on it in various places. biggrin

For info - it became clear when I did the on-line process. It only accepted with the additional two digits at the end.
