turning right at crossroad junction with a red light camera

Sat at Gatley lights where there is a red light camera at the junction, Im waiting to turn right and the lights turn green to turn left and go straight forward but not right. I accidentally set off and move forward a couple of feet going over the stop line when the lights turn green. Will the camera have flashed me?

Potentially, yes.

You might get lucky and the camera was not working, wasn't on, or some other factor.

You'll find out in a couple weeks, assuming you're the registered keeper.

I think they take two pictures - one if you cross the line after it's armed and a second one to see if you actually went through.

Depending on how far you went, you may be ok.

Plus there is also the gamble on whether it's a live camera, as not all of them are real and take pictures.

Would the camera not be disarmed when the lights go green for going left and straight on? This was a 3 lane by pass and i was in the far right lane waiting to turn right
