A friends daughter who has been driving for one year got caught by the police using a mobile phone.
A letter was received from the police informing her of notice to prosecute which will accrue 6 points.
The fine was paid online and the letter was sent back admitting guilt
This was 4 weeks ago.
How long does it take for the points to be added to her license and license revoked?
She has received no letter from DVLA
She continues to drive.
On another point if she drives when license is revoked what will be the sentence if ever stopped by police or has a crash ?
Has she submitted her licence to the DVLA for points to be added? If she hasn't she'll need to do this. Once the DVLA have received this she'll then get a letter from them saying she is back to being a provisional licence holder. A letter was received from the police informing her of notice to prosecute which will accrue 6 points.

In terms of punishment if she gets caught driving...driving otherwise in accordance. £100 fine and three points. If enquires are made with the insurance company they may be looking st no insurance as well. Oh and the vehicle could be seized.
She can however drive if she had l plates and is being supervised.

No she has not sent her license to the DVLA
I assumed they did it their end when it was processed
From what I recall, the letter will say you need to pay the fine by x days after receiving it (21 or 28 comes to mind) and submit your licence to the DVLA for points to be added. If she hasn't done this I'd contact the relevant force to confirm what is needed (in my force it's the above...I'd assume its the same at others). I assumed they did it their end when it was processed
She does run the risk that if she doesn't submit her licence the matter could end up in court as she has failed to comply with the FPN process.
