Can I park here?
Discussion
Feel slightly embarrassed that I don’t know the answer, but I’m on holiday in Newquay at the moment and here is the road in question:

Can I park on the single yellow line outside those houses? I can’t see any restriction signs on that side of the road, only the ‘No waiting’ restriction on the other side which I guess relates to the double yellows on that side.
Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks

Very common sign all over Cornwall covering the holiday months.
There isn't one on the bit in your pic although there is one just round the corner on the scaffolding.
This might (or might not!) help.
"Can I park on a single yellow lines?
Single yellow lines mean no waiting or parking during the times shown on nearby signs or at the entrance to a controlled parking zone. There are no standard times or rules so you must always check the signs before waiting or parking."

Probably safest not to park during the times.
