Have the CPS ever prosecuted a royal?
Discussion
I was just reading this article and was wondering if it has ever occured? Would they dare prosecute their own boss?

Didn't she get done for some motoring offence concerning her horsebox a while backJustice is administered in the King's name and all judges derive their authority from the reigning monarch, so in practical terms the King is immune from prosecution.
He would have to abdicate the throne for any prosecution to occur so presumably it would have to be very serious - e.g. like him just straight up killing someone in the street.
Other members of the Royal family can be prosecuted freely though..

I know what you mean but isn't she technically a commoner?
Fairly royal but yes not top flight now.
"She is the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and Captain Mark Phillips. She is a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and a niece of King Charles III. She was born 6th in the line of succession to the British throne and is now 21st."
