Camera on east lancs road

Going towards St Helens yesterday around midday, and seen a car parked at the side and a guy in a yellow vest with a camera on a tripod in the 40 zone assuming he’s getting you as the speed limit drops from 60 to 40.
I reckon I’ve been caught even though I was doing 60 but just eased off going through into the 40.
Just a warning that they’re employing sneaky tactics without a van. Just a plain car, no markings.
