Especially for those who pay monthly.

Looks pretty real with the 'gov.uk' bit, would probably have fooled me, thanks for the warning.

The date is obvious, but licensing is correct in Standard English!

“Licensing” is correct, and DVLA do spell it like that, correctly.

“Licence” is the noun.
“License” is the verb. “Licensing” is the participle, which is derived from the verb.

Two rules

Does it say "Dear Mr Smith" (or similar) with your correct name? If not - scam.
Does it ask you to click on a link that involves entering a password or other information? It does? Scam.

This one ticks both boxes.

Always check who it really came from by clicking "details". Also never click on links. Call them if concerned.
