Taking it from Behind?
Discussion
Rear visibility is severely compromised in the griff when its top is down so I would probably not see a police car creeping up behind until it was too late.
I wonder what proportion of speeders are zapped from behind? My theory is that not many are: You are most likely to be zapped from in front (laser, radar, etc). You will be done from behind (vascar, video, etc)if you zoom past a police car, but even that started out in front.
So, on that basis, poor rear visibility should not mean more danger of being zapped...
Does any of this make sense..?
Maybe this will answer your question. Quite a few are done from behind. If for example I use the unmarked car there are quite a few spots I use where I can get cars using VASCAR going either way. Even with LASER a great number of speeders have very poor observation skills and just don't see you. Only on Saturday one passed me doing 49 (OK I was in the unmarked car, but the fact that it has a 4" square box where the rear view mirror should be does give it away a bit)
