Cancelation of an agreement via email
Discussion
Hi All.
I have inadvertently entered into an agreement by accepting an offer which included a monthly subscription. Yes, I didn't read the T&C's etc.
The 'agreement' was made online and confirmed by email.
Now I have realised my mistake I dont want any further products (what I received wasn't very tasty (beer)) and so I don't want any more.
Clicking the 'cancel your orders' button leads to call this number, which I did and after 10 minutes of no answer decided to email them using their enquiry page.
Is this enough? If they continue to take funds do I have a leg to stand on?
Thanks in advance.

Direct Debit, or Continuous Payment Authority on a card? You've a great chance of stopping a DD, less so of a CPA, but either way, they COULD come after you and claim you owe the money. I'd be writing a tracked and signed for letter to their registered address, rather than just hoping they wont come after you.

I think they have CC details, so hard to cancel.
If I write to them and track it and they still take the cash what should I do?
Yes, it is the Co mentioned and it seems they have history with this sort of thing.
Contact your card provider, tell them what you need and that you withdraw your permission for any payment to said outfit. If I write to them and track it and they still take the cash what should I do?

It's easy enough to cancel or pause beer52 online.
Really?Tried calling the other day and nobody answered, cant see an email address to cancel.
Log in to your account and scroll to the bottom, it's in the "help centre". Piece of piss.Pretty sure that when I cancelled their subscription the only option was to phone them.
Went round in circles with them telling me that I x amount of points I could use to get money off and would I like a discount on my next box. Had to be quite firm with them in the end to get it though to them that I didn't want another box! Also you can only use a max of half your points in one go to get any discount so that was no use to me either as I just wanted shot of them.
