A family member had cause to need the services of a solicitor and - potentially - counsel at trial for a significant criminal motoring problem. For obvious reasons, I'm not going to elaborate on the circumstances.

Agtlaw of this manor kindly replied extraordinarily promptly to my emails, was happy to act if needs be at trial, and recommended a named person to handle the Police side of things in terms of representation.

I'm delighted to say the matter has now been resolved without charges. Agtlaw's recommendation was outstanding, responsive, kind and human. Without her, I doubt the news would have been so good; without the referral, we'd never have met her.

So thank you Andrew (agtlaw) - I'll email you separately, but wanted to provide a testimonial here. None of us ever wants to have to deal with the criminal law, but PH has introduced me to truly outstanding people in this moment of family need.

That's great to hear. I've only been on threads with agtlaw (no direct contact) and he has always seemed to go out of his way to be helpful to others when he can.

I take it he is no longer on this forum but I've always respected him for his helpfulness.

He doesn't post a lot, but popped up on a thread in the last couple of days with one of his usual helpful answers/

AGT is a PHer whose views and posts on this forum I always respect; I think we’re very fortunate to have him on here, and if I’m ever in the unfortunate position of being accused of a serious motoring offence he’ll be my first port of call.

As an aside i always love it when there’s a thread on here and someone pipes up “in my opinion”/“I’ve heard that”/“suck it up” etc (ie. utter bks) and up rocks AGT and puts it all right.

And then some people still argue, which is hilarious.

Always funny when some don't seem to connect the agtlaw bit might be a clue! Sure I've seen recent posts so certainly hope he's not left us! frown

Completely agree with this, I always enjoy reading his comments because as opposed to a lot of the rubbish posted on here he speaks from qualified knowledge and experience.

Great feedback; well deserved by the sound of it. Kudos both directions.

Andrew helped me with a speeding offence a few years ago and he was super helpful and gave excellent advice and assistance, I would have been lost (and would have incurred a far worse penalty) without his help - all round top man!

Andrew is a top chap, very knowledgeable and helped me get out of a ban a few years ago, the points will be coming off my licence in April! A phone call with him put me at ease and it was smooth sailing from there. Another vote from me.

Ah, misread that! I was wondering if he'd had some fairly drastic surgery recently... hehe
