A few months ago, I saw on their site a newer product than the C550, which is discontinued. But all they seem to be selling on their webpage now is subscriptions to their Trinity database. No physical products. Are things going less than well with them?

Starting to think maybe so. Went to login tonight to update the C550 and username / password not recognised. A message though saying if you have not logged in recently, then you will need to reset your password. Done that, but still nothing. And of course, no phone number to be able to call them tomorrow. rolleyes

Found an Edinburgh phone number that came with the subscription to call for assistance - 0131 608 0059

Yup. Not working - "Please contact BT for more information"

Filled in a contact form on the website - No response - Its not looking good..... Will be one last go in trying to contact them by paper mail to their companies house registered address. TBH, that has the potential to be more effective, as email has become the new snail mail these days - Trying to order some fixings for the garage door with a company that insist on using email, and the exchange is already about 2 months old and ongoing, as there is generally about a week between them getting my response and them responding. Ah, for the good old days in the '80s when email was actually effective.....

So, the Cheetah is apparantly still alive and kicking, and the paper mail contact worked, when electronic and telephonic methods have failed. Anyway, he called me today on the landline (with-holding his number....) and explained that they have had to move web servers, and all the passowrds got lost in the process. He has set me up again, and I can now again login to update the database on the C550.

He also explained that in relation to the new Drive Aware product, that has been scrapped as a physical product and will become an App on a phone only, so not a lot of use if you do not want Big Brother tracking you. grumpy
