My maths may been going downhill, but BBC South have just reported the following a collision between 2 cars and a lorry, in which the lorry driver died, 2 men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Can a passenger be arrested and how can they be involved?
Any police out there who could shed light on this..... unless the indentity of a driver at the time is uncertain

100% it was those lovely nomadic types who spread cheer and happiness where ever they appear and use the verges and car parks as open sewers.Apparently they acquired a large TV from Currys, perhaps confirming the unwarranted stereotype they chose not to pay, then drove off at silly speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, they hit a Passat that spun into the lorry. Then knowing they had killed the driver kicked off at the police attempting to arrest them.

Might not know who is driving at the time. Or if its reported that the passenger pulls the handbrake for example. They are now driving Can a passenger be arrested and how can they be involved?
