You mean the yellow Porsche with the Porsche badge?

I remember when this used to be a car enthusiasts site.

From the article

"Meanwhile, some drivers were also found to have been on the roads without a valid licence, using a mobile phone while driving, not wearing a seatbelt and having illegally tinted windows."

I think you're confirming his point, you can't have your car seized just because the driver was not wearing a seatbelt for example. Cars had enforcement against them for not complying with the law. Drivers had enforcement against them for not complying with the law.

I used to work on Sloane Street, back before this really got going - but even then we had to put up with a small hard core group of idiots who would decide to do whatever the hell they liked on their summer holidays.

One chap in a gold leaf 599 decided to turn down Basil street the wrong way as I was crossing - he didn't appreciate the instant feedback!

Utter cretins without a shred of common sense or self awareness; but they do have a well developed sense of entitlement.

Seems to major on no insurance and the mib was behind it.

My guess is they are insured in the Middle East and that may or may not cover driving in the U.K. it maybe their insured state is unproven at the roadside ?

If you are stopped in France they don't know if you have U.K. insurance ( as far as I know ).

Or just not insured at all and figure they'll just pay for your car if they hit it.

My limited experience of working in the ME taught me that if you have never encountered young rich Saudi's or Emiratis, you can't comprehend the level of selfishness and arrogance.
