Telling your insurance about prosecution?
Discussion
At what point do you need to tell your car insurance company about an impending prosecution?
I am dealing with a matter which is likely to go to court, however I have as yet, had no court summons, and the decision has not *yet* been made by the CPS.
Do I need to notify my insurance company now or later?

For motoring convictions usually at renewal unless it results in a ban or disqualification then that should be immediate notification.I am dealing with a matter which is likely to go to court, however I have as yet, had no court summons, and the decision has not *yet* been made by the CPS.

It may vary per insurers but it will tell you in your policy booklet.
