Speeding - Someone else in my Car
Discussion
Just a quick one, as I don't have the paperwork with me, nor have I had to do this before...
- Mechanic had my car for Service/MOT
- Letter through the Post a few days later 35 in a 30
- Spoke with mechanic/got details from him, filled forms out, posted back
How do I know the forms have been received / sent to relevant party (mechanic) / mechanic has replied / Police have processed etc. etc.
Should I phone to follow it up? Is any further action required on my part?

^^This^^OP, the only thing that matters is whether your response has been received and that your S.172 obligation has been complied with.
The next stage is between the police/SCP and the party you nominated. Nothing further to do with you.
If TPTB confirm they have received the completed form(s) from you, chill out and have a
