caught bang to rights... then wants out on a technicality... where is the popcorn?

Just to add... you never said you were not on the phone, is that just your way of not admitting it or were you not on the phone?

VauxHall? Usually shortened to vx though. Could also be a very badly written X that looks like an H

VH = Vauxhall, sorry about that.

It must be an absolute bd if you really weren't on your phone, but I guess you're donald ducked, if they say you were, who do you think the magistrates will believe ?

It really pisses me off too, although it hasn't happened to me yet, but they need no evidence what so ever, if they say you were, and you can't prove you weren't, then as far as the world is concerned, you were.

Only asking I wasn't on phone as stated in my thread if you look closely and am trying to build a case on the grounds as if they can't write out a forum correctly what else have they got wrong I.e I wasn't on it! Unfortully I don't have loads of cash to pay for a lawyer so I'll represent my self and was just asking on here
Speak to AGTLAW, I wouldn't think you have a cat in hells chance, but see what he advises.

Another disappointing thread title.

I was hoping you were going to ask for advice on the legal validity of racing for Pink Slips...

So the basis of your defence is that the Police are thick? The irony is strong on this one...

I can only assume that this is a joke thread. If so, kudos.

Disappointing - now I can't see what the OP has done......also the "pink slip" used to be the form given to sailors when they disembarked to show they were FFI (free from infection)!

Got pulled over by the police 4 months ago and they said I was on the phone as they seen me look down but couldn't see phone and when in back of there car they asked what colour my phone was? This is of course because they never seen my phone! On my slip tho the car reg is right but the make is VH what I would like to know is this allowed as when I google what VH means it comes up several things on Wikipedia which are

VH, a series of the Chrysler Valiant automobile

Aston Martin VH platform, a sports car automobile platform

Nissan VH engine, built by Nissan Motor Corporation from 1989 to 2001

V H Group, an Indian diversified company

Have I got reasonable grounds on this case some one must of came across this thanks for your reply and before any one asks no I genuley wasn't on my phone !
I suspect this falls under the "de minimis" rules - i.e. the law isn't concerned about trivial mistakes. In this situation, the registration number is more than enough to identify the vehicle.

Are you saying you were not on the phone? If not then that would be your defence.
