SORN - Question

Never done this before but if I SORN a vehicle that seems simple.

How would I go about getting tax again and more importantly how long does that process take ?

Is it just a simple case of taxing it or is it a longer process than that ?

Providing you have the V5 to hand it should be straight forward, think you might need an MOT but I don't think they check the insurance anymore...

Online it takes 30seconds. You need to have an MOT and it will go back to the 1st of the month that you're unSORNing.

Insurance not checked on this anymore but it is checked elsewhere very soon after.

No waiting for a tax disc anymore so no worries about failing to display.
