Hi
Just thought I'd seek a few opinions.
Sold a set of wheels on eBay for £450 which were well photographed and described accurately to the best of my knowledge.
They were heavily kerbed so I stated they could do with refurbishment.
Sent via courier, I get an email 5 days later stating one wheel is cracked and some very poor quality photos of the wheel with tyre removed.
I requested better pictures which do show hairline cracks in the rim so fair enough.
I've since said I would refund 25% as they have requested if the wheel is returned to me with the tyre. They have agreed to this but also want me to pay postage which I think it a bit much?
As it was something bought unseen, second hand I think there needs to be a little give and take.

If I had bought a set of wheels which had been 'kerbed and in need of refurbishment' I would not expect to find cracks which, effectively, mean the wheel is fit only for scrap. I, too, would expect a re-fund and for the vendor to pay the return postage as I would have purchased in good faith and as a result of the inaccurate description.
