I wonder what practically the Police can do in this situation. They'd be able to find the registered keeper's details, who may not be the driver, but what then? I suspect they have the same tools at their disposal as you would.
Short of having a trolley jack, and particularly now that the Police are aware, I'm not sure what options you have.

It appears the kerb is wide enough to get a vehicle off your drive by negotiating around this parked car? Not ideal but probably influences the outcome to a degree.
Your local authority is more likely to take action on this than the police. Assuming the dropped kerb is there with planning consent, the council authorised parking enforcement folk are entitled to come and stick a ticket on it for blocking access.
I had similar with a vehicle blocking access to my garage recently and I got nowhere with either the police or council as the garage block isn't adopted road. It was left there for 2 days before disappearing - not seen it before or since. My neighbour gave it a tap with his battered Transit and I left a note on it asking them to read and understand the no parking as access required sign - to be fair to them out of 8 garages in the block only 2 contain cars that are used - but basically there's enough blind/stupid/don't give a toss folk out there that you pretty much have to suck it up or be prepared to deploy trolley jacks to shift it.

Is this the spot - looks correct from the other houses?
Looks like there is plenty or room to get around the car even if its an inconvenience although depends on how many cars you have on your drive way. I see that the front of their car is upto the dropped curb so yes are blocking your drive way. Hopefully you can get around it.
Just leave a note on it.

Many years ago I was watching a football match and received a call from the police. Short of having a trolley jack, and particularly now that the Police are aware, I'm not sure what options you have.
I'd inadvertently parked partway obstructing a dropped curb.

Left the ground sharpish and sheepishly moved my car. I'll not be doing that again.
It was only later I stopped to think how they got my mobile number... it seems they'd done some police style detectiving and got my name from the registration, looked me up in the directory and my brother gave them my number.

FPN for obstruction - recovery by Police.Short of having a trolley jack, and particularly now that the Police are aware, I'm not sure what options you have.
Easy.
What you should have done was to get a mate to come round in his car, nose up to the back of the Skoda; slowly, and push it out of the way, if you do it carefully enough there will be no damage to either car and hopefully it will be angled as such that it is pushed into the road thus causing an obstruction and will be towed away for causing said obstruction.

the high density foam used for pipe lagging works wonders in this situation, leaves no marks ,allegedly
