not sure if this has been mentioned but great driving skills. Not sure what car the police have - sounds like a diesel as there is some lag then it pulls hard away.
Nice driving though.

Watch the time display on the video, it's playing back at about 2x speed, hence the apparent stig-like driving skills.

Only impressive bit there was the first bit where the police quick thinking at cutting the round about and making it possible to catch up to him, rest of it wa sjust weaving in traffic. Police should also have run over that fat tt at the beginning who stands in their way!

Well done to the police.

This is real police work. I think the US police can learn a thing or two from their British counterparts.

Look at the way the man who legged it and was caught on the motorway was treated...like a human being.

Once again welldone to the police doing real police work in a professional manner.

Wouldn't say it was great driving at all to be honest.
What was it about the driving that didn't meet your standards?

The two videos show how much better the coordinated stop is rather than the spontaneous one. Obviously the former isn't always possible, but the best pursuit is the one that doesn't start.

He seemed to wait when he should have just rammed him at that point.

I think he means the police, I thought they did a very good job and seemed within themselves at every point, slowing down when needed but not losing the car and making ground when possible.

And then get suspended from driving and have his TPAC ticket pulled.

They did the right thing

Well, he did the right thing for himself then.

The perp was going through junctions as some speed and ended up crashed across the pavement. I don't think it's far fetched to say it's a miracle there wasn't a crash and the whole thing could have been prevented before it got going, especially as the Police were in an X5.
