Parking Independent Appeals Service
Discussion
I have made an appeal against a Parking Charge Notice I have received. The parking company have rejected my appeal and not provided any of the reasonable information I have asked for.
I have been told I can appeal to the Parking Independent Appeals Service (Theias.org)
I am struggling to get any decent information about this service. Their website isn’t great and short on details which I thought was odd.
Can anyone shed any light on this service? Basically I want to know what weight their decision holds, are they a real independent service? I have a strong case for appeal, however if I lose can they insist I pay the full amount of £100. If so on what authority?
Cheers

That will be The IAS based in Red Cow Yard, Knutsford then.... You may want to google who else is based out of there..... The chances of a successful a appeal is somewhere between Zero.... and slightly below zero.Go to Pepipoo and seek advise there.
I'm guessing you mean a firm which shares its name with a famous 19th century politician.
The IAS hears appeals in respect of IPC member PPCs. The IPC openly admits on its website that it works in association with said firm.

As an aside, I nearly destroyed my keyboard by dousing it with hot coffee when I did a search of the address.
Top of the list of businesses at that location is one called fitmeup.com
