Parking Tickets Issued to Cars Destroyed in Sweden Riots
Discussion
Perhaps the reason why some people believed the "Muslims allowed to break speed limit during Ramadan" story is the existence of real but equally absurd stories like this from a couple of years ago?
But would they go as far as supporting Muslims being exempt from speed limits? That's a tricky one! What would win out: their seething hatred of cars, or their unconditional love of Islam? Wow, talk about an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object! Allowing Muslims to riot or rape little girls is one thing, it's their culture after all, but break the speed limit? That's hardcore man!

For the past week, immigrant youths rioted in Sweden. Riots that included the breaking of windows, rock-throwing at police, destruction of property and burning of cars. Swedish police tell the Associated Press that some 220 crimes were reported to them during the violent rampage.
But instead of cracking down on the perpetrators, authorities were busy issuing parking tickets on cars that were burned by the rioters. The conservative Swedish news site Fria Tider reports that owners of some cars destroyed in the riots were fined for parking illegally, while the Swedish police force described a low-key approach to the rioters themselves. Its reporter caught a parking enforcer in the act of issuing a ticket, and shot a photo, published above the headline “Parking Tickets Issued on Wrecks While Stockholm Burns.”
Many of those who so heroically seek to save motorists from being able to drive at a realistic speed, or park anywhere useful, are also relentless, virtuous defenders of the Islamisation of the West (insofar as they admit it's happening at all), and wish to see laws enforced unevenly depending on whether or not the perpetrators are Muslim (Rotherham being probably the highest-profile example of this). So stories like the above must provide such people with a wonderful, almost orgasmic duet of pleasures. But instead of cracking down on the perpetrators, authorities were busy issuing parking tickets on cars that were burned by the rioters. It must be old age. But I've read this several times and can't really fathom out what you are trying to say. Or maybe its too be taken as a joke. Could you elaborate please?BertBert said:

Don't you think it's a bit, well, strange, that most people saw what you describe and took it as an opportunity to laugh at someone for being stupid or gullible or a failed troll, but you see it as an opportunity to start a new thread centred around an only vaguely related - because Muslims - two year old news story from another country? What do you suppose that might say about you?
