how long before you get licence back following speed ticket
Discussion
i have never seen the point of them asking for the plastic card, it makes no sense, if you are looking at a totting up ban then they don't do it as a fixed penalty they make you go to court so it is not like they need to check if you get it back.
I was quite annoyed when they took away after i had a speeding ticket at 18 as it was my only form of ID.

have notified them regarding licence
thanks
but i don't understand why you ever needed to send your card, if there was a reason then i don't see that getting rid of the counter part is going to make any difference to that reason.
If there was no reason perhaps the thought of perhaps being able to save a few hundred £k in postage every year might help them figure that out
but it will mean i once got punched in the face after getting in an argument with a night club bouncer for no reason

it is a requirement for a Fixed penalty to send both parts of your license If there was no reason perhaps the thought of perhaps being able to save a few hundred £k in postage every year might help them figure that out

As from 1st June you only need to send your plastic license
