Bloody kids!!!! Now expecting a NIP
Discussion
I'm unfortunately expecting a a NIP as I just accidentally went through what was probably a red light next to a red light camera
I'm really worried as I've only been passed a few months and I have 3 points from a incident which happened before I passed (lc20)
As I approached the junction my toddler daughter began screaming hysterically (all because she saw a wasp on the window) how I didn't crash is beyond me I nearly cropped myself
Anyway when I looked back at the road I noticed my light was on Amber and I think it may have gone red as a passed I'm not sure if the camera flashed as I didn't look back
Bloody kids in cars are a bad idea

On the basis its the summer holidays OP could be written by a common garden troll I will try not to feed but incase OP in not...
If you did and you get a ticket hard lines. We all cock up from time to time, sometimes we get caught out and if we are lucky the only consiquence is a fine and points. Looks like you will be reliving your transportation limitations for a couple more years. Least it is not worse as some could tell of.
Next time pull over as soon as it is safe to do so. This s
t happens. I have a carpetburn to prove my observation of this maxim. If the light hadbeen amber it would have been opportune to stop to attend to child.

And in reply to the post above I'm not seeking that at all I was merely venting my frustration in regards to what had just happened i nearly crapped myself I had a silent car then it was suddenly screaming and hysteria I'm lucky I didn't career off the road it was that bad
I've never experienced anything like it all toddlers throw tantrums but this was off the scale

I drive much more defensively with my daughter in the car. Extra stopping distances, etc. I know she is a distraction, though that is easing now she can talk.
Although hitting me on the head with a bubble stick this morning was a bit of a shock - it was down the side of the seat and somehow she extracted it, hit me and said "BUBBLES!".
I'll forgive her as she is 2. If she is still doing it at 15 then she can walk to her destination.

This place gets worse by the week, I am sure he has seen the error of his ways so instead of just berating the OP with purile comments why not just answer his questions.OP unfortunately yes, your licence will be revoked, the points from before your test are carried over to your full licence. you are not actually disqualified so you can get a new provisional and re take your test asap. i'ts not uncommon for people who have been revoked to be back on the road within a matter of weeks.
Be prepared for an insurance hike though and don't be tempted not to declare the revocation, it will come back to bite you!
