Well I have been keeping an eye on this FOI request someone submitted to Hampshire Police asking for the number of speeding prosecutions or awareness courses issued for 30-35mph in a 30 and today they have replied...

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/288027/resp...

The answer as predicted : 0!

Although they did mention - "the above figures are not an indication that that the force wouldn’t prosecute for speeds over 30mph but less than 36mph."

Good for Hants. My wife has had to go on a speed awareness course though for 35 in a 30... This was courtesy of 'Safe Roads Humber'.

The question in the FOI request would still have excluded her...
"Please could you provide the number of prosecutions and/or driver awareness courses issued for drivers driving UNDER 35mph in a 30 zone (31mph to 34mph) for the following periods"

35mph is the start of the CPS prosecution threshold guidelines.

The question would, the answer may not have.

Please note: Although Hampshire Constabulary adheres to section 9.6 of the ACPO Speed Enforcement Policy Guidelines 2011 – 2015, the above figures are not an indication that that the force wouldn’t prosecute for speeds over 30mph but less than 36mph.
I disagree with the figures not being an indication. It seems quite a strong indication to me.

What has 36mph got to do with ACPO guidance?

Nothing, but the first increment of 35 MPH we arrive at from "less than 36 MPH" does. Not that it is relevant to whether or not they have worded the reply accurately around the question.
