On the 1st of this month (september) i was caught speeding by an unmarked officer. Just wondering how long it normally takes to recieve the letter through the post about the fine and points..
Forget the 14 day bit, if that's what you're thinking of - that's for the initial notice of intention to prosecute, which you were given at the time. They have up to six months for the next step.
What was the speed you were doing and what was the limit?
You would have been served the NIP at the roadside so forget the 14 day limit. If it's straight to court, it can take up to 6 months. If a TOR was filled in you will probably hear back in about 3/4 weeks with the option of a course or points.
