Cra written off after recent house move

We moved recently and her car was written off in accident. Admiral paid out and the salvage people have had the car. I have sent the slip from the v5 along with the paper work from the salvage people showing they had the car on x date with a copy of the collection paperwork to the dvla

Whats the procedure I forgot when I sent it that she hadn't told the dvla the new address (her licence is correct)but the cars v5 is wrong. We have not received any paperwork but I do know the people who live at are old house as their son is at school with our eldest.

Do I need to write separately to the dvla for missus to explain?

Can't you just knock on the door of the Old House and ask the New Occupiers if they have recieved any post for you?
