Dart charge confusion
Discussion
In July I drove to Kent to get the Eurostar to Paris.
On the way back I went through the Dartford tunnel and paid the £2-50 charge the next day online.
After that trip I started getting several emails supposedly from Dart charge saying I hadn't paid and having an attachment with an invoice.
I ignored these as likely trojan spam. They mainly went into my spam folder on arrival.
Today I received a letter saying I owe £70 for non-payment (£35 if I pay within 14 days).
Photo is dated on the day I was travelling to my hotel the night before driving to the Eurostar terminal.
I didn't go through the tunnel on that trip, but the photo is on a flyover which I think I exited before the tunnel.
So - pay or dispute?

On the way into Kent the dartford crossing is over the bridge, not through the tunnel.
If you crossed the river twice you need to pay twice. It sounds like you only paid once.....
Fairynuff - looks like it's a fair cop.If you crossed the river twice you need to pay twice. It sounds like you only paid once.....
Won't do that again.
Got confused by lack of tunnel.
Doh!
