Extending V778

Totally confused by the crossover of the V778 and V750 Retention Certificates. You can't extend the life of a V778 online it has to be done by post whereby a V750 is issued which brings with it the online convenience. All good there.

However, I've got a V778 which is just about to expire and I'd like to extend it. It was issued before the March 2015 cut off so there appears to be a fee payable. I just cannot find the correct amount to pay. It's either £25 for the standard ten year extension or £80 for the same period, but I can't find the .gov webpage to tell me which one it is, just links to conflicting information.

Any pointers for a thicko?

V778 is now free, I did one last week.

I wasnt sure either if there was still a fee to pay so i enclosed a cheque with it, which they sent back with the new certificate.
