Occupy Democracy try to take over Parliament Square. BoJo puts up fences to stop them. Liberty gets on the case to challenge the fences as infringements of Article 10 and 11 rights (free expression and free assembly). High Court says that the fencing was proportionate and lawful. Exec summary: Gardening trumps human rights - very English!

Good job sir, though it does mean that you've been in the gainful employ of TfL, of whom I have an entirely baseless dislike.
Though I hate the shouties much, much more...

Plenty of land they can use when the tide is out.

TfL just do the in house legal blah for the GLA and the Mayor, even on matters that have zip to do with transport. Actually very sensible and pleasant people to work for (I am referring only to TfL Legal here, and say big fat nowt about GLA and TEH BORIS).

I wanted to argue the case on my Jack Jones, but BoJo insisted on post-nominals, so we got the very effective Swifty in.

Mr Barda, the claimant in the case, looks like the typical right-on Trustafarian, paid for by Bank of Mum and Dad, but I may perhaps be misjudging him. He is nothing if not sincere.
