Front Facing Camera
Discussion
If it was Travel, that's forward facing. Did it look like this:

If not, then as said previously, low likelihood of getting anything

A capacitor is a bit like a battery, but it has a different job to do. A battery uses chemicals to store electrical energy and release it very slowly through a circuit; sometimes (in the case of a quartz watch) it can take several years. A capacitor generally releases its energy much more rapidly—often in seconds or less. If you're taking a flash photograph, for example, you need your camera to produce a huge burst of light in a fraction of a second. A capacitor attached to the flash gun charges up for a few seconds using energy from your camera's batteries. (It takes time to charge a capacitor and that's why you typically have to wait a little while.) Once the capacitor is fully charged, it can release all that energy in an instant through the xenon flash bulb. Zap!
It's a capacitor that holds the charge that fires the flash, over time the power decreases so it has to discharge and re charge in order to fire twice

I used to have a copy of camera type approvals ,but one thing stood out -Gatso's are not type approved for forward facing use. If I ever get flashed in my face by a Gatso, I make a point of informing police and asking for an investigation as to why it flashed in my face. This means that a tech has to attend and check it out, as SCP are worried that this could suggest that it was faulty ,and so by by lots of loot. That doesn't look like a front facing camera.
Speed in the opposite direction can sometimes cause the camera to go off, but it will end up taking a photo of the lane its focussed on, which I presume is the other side of the road.
Then again, we have these cameras on a dual carriageway around the corner from where I live, and they can do two lanes at once - but both lanes are in the same direction.
....So that's a very long winded way of saying that I'm not sure lol.

Yea was doing about 70 on the single lane but roads were dead.
Thats ok then as stated in the highway code if ROAD is dead throw the hammer down, you forgot it was a beautifully sunny day, the road surface was dry and in a good state of repair with a psv exceeding 55 these all music to a jps ears when you have been speeding.I think its a misconception that police/mag/insurers mind how busy the road is when you commit and offence. If its a grey gatso they don't do forward facing so your ok. If its the round eye truvelo like the blue one above although they can be grey then you could well get a ticket.
