Moving PCN evidence?
Discussion
To cut a long story short, I have a PCN for a no left turn on a motorbike. I have responded that they have not provided evidence that confirms that the alleged offence occurred.
All Haringey's correspondence says I can view "moving CCTV evidence" on-line but their links only show 2 still photos of my/a bike making the turn with no reg in shot and a separate close-up showing my reg plate with no visible references to indicate where the bike was, albeit one can see that in all shots it was a black bike and the rider/s had camo cargo pants ;-) I am also offered the opportunity of visiting to view the video, although oddly my PCN details wee not included in teh video evidence section of their site (there are two PCN prefixes, one for stills and one for CCTV). Of course, had it been a car, there would have been front plates and thus undeniable evidence that the offence occurred.
Have they got me bang to rights, guv, or do you think it's worth going to tribunal?

I doubt you have any chance of overturning the penalty.
I don't know the reason for the no left turn, but there doesn't seem to be any inconvenience to others and it might be a genuine mistake. It is annoying that CCTV is used in these circumstances where a human might let it go as no-one was troubled, but the automatic process is unstoppable. You have my sympathy.

I too received one from Hackney by CCTV and I could view the video link. Anyhow. That's at Bounds Green station, big no left turn signs everywhere. Sorry Guv but you're bang to rights...good luck with the PCN Challenge.
Seriously OP??? I mean, really???
It's blindingly obvious that the images you've been sent are from a video...
How were you planning on defending the inevitable court case when they show up with said video?...

Pay up, move on...
Poor obs by the way...
Must have missed the "AHEAD ONLY" a few metres back on the road surface...

Meh! I decided it was safest to fold for £65 than ask to see them for £130 :-) It's just against my nature to pay up without a fight as I usually win ;-)
Gotta say, I have no idea how I missed the profusion of signs. Must have been on auto-pilot as when I lived around that way many years back you could turn left there. As you can see the curved corner rather than a sharp one is a legacy.
