Paying Norwegian national insurance help.

I have just been made redundant and looking for help. I was working on a Norwegian flagged ship, paying uk tax and Norwegian national insurance. Is anyone aware of any help I may be able to get of the Norwegian social services regarding benefits/ help for training etc. Thank You

You need to contact NAV. No sure what if any benefits you will get it you are non-resident in Norway.
