Yes dear, they should ficus on cooking, making babies and thinking of fluffy kittens right?

Good grief. I hope you're single. What is it with PH and sexists?

Poor reporting. The question at hand was not answered and no pictures provided to allow the reader to draw their own conclusions.

I imagine there will be a fair few people fighting over who chairs the review board, and do the judging!

If I read a story about two senior male officers being suspended because of an argument over the size of their dicks, I would be equally surprised. If this happened, the women would be all over them (probably wrong turn of phrase) with comments about how juvenile they are and how the male dominated police force is.

This just shows women are no different, we're all human and argue over the daftest things. I suspect alcohol was involved.

Spot on that bit. Sadly for the cro magnon "men" that doesn't compute. Sexism is a alive and well in the enlightened 21st century. It really is pitiful but some "men' seem to think it is a badge of honour. (or somehow amusing)

Brush up on PH humour, after a year you should have "got" it by now

I've never known anything like the place I currently work (won't be there for much longer though). I have a manager who decides if he is interested in dealing with women if they are 'fit' enough. He recruits based on looks first, then only takes 'ugly' women on board if there aren't any fit ones left. Apparently, a woman who is now on maternity leave got extra benefits because she had a 'tight ass' and wore close fitting clothes.

Others do it too. An ex air hostess was recently employed. Don't worry though because she is apparently used to men perving on her. Our grossly overweight MD recently took on some disastrous supplier contracts because he would like to shag the sales woman. Banking work was recently looked forward too because this new woman was visiting and word got around that she is 'worth one'.

It's all very sad and makes me laugh. Women are, to some people, still simply sex objects, despite how good or bad they are at their job.

hehe

Yeah when ever I see a good looking girl walking down the street I never look at her legs or anything & the first thing I always think of is, I wonder if she's any good at her job.

There might be a bit more to it...

So... flopped 'em out, late night, bar, conference. Any bets on blood-alcohol levels? And it looks like she's got previous for, umm, poor decision making.

I'm not sure that her gender is the most relevant detail about the whole suspension.

I'm sure news is this internal incident weren't leaked on purpose to the press by male colleagues that disapprove of women officers in the police force....

Still a spectacular own goal

Although pretty minor compared some of the stuff that goes on after meetings and conferences.
