Hi all , know it's been covered many times before and have run a search but only returning old threads.

Received a NIP

OFFENCE 14th May

DATE OF NIP 10th June

RECIEVED 13th June

All seems well past the 14 days -any advice on how to proceed ?

Thx in advance

As above, whose name is on the V5C ?

If yours, when did you acquire the car ? Are the address details correct ?

What offence has been alleged ?

Its a company car (wifes). All registered to one single address

However the date on the NIP (speeding) is 10th June

If it's a company car and therefore registered to the company or a lease company etc when they serve the NIP on them to disclose the driver it is within the timeframe and valid then they have an extended period within which to contact the driver which would make this ticket issue a valid one.

As above, the 14 day rule only applies to serving it to the registered keeper.
