Just getting quotes for my partner's car insurance.

She has a claim incident to disclose from last year - she and another car had a minor head-on in a narrow lane. No one hurt, claim has been settled 50:50. The accident she had was in my car, on which she is insured as a named driver, so we claimed on my insurance.

I'm putting that into the quotes as an "Accident, driver at fault"

Now to the question...
I am a named driver on her insurance too, so do I have to put her accident (I was not in the car at the time) down on my details when they ask "Has this driver been involved in any claims or accidents in the last 3 years?"
If I do they are bumping the price up again by another 20%.
I was involved in that it was my insurance claimed on, but not involved in the actual incident/accident.

If the question is "Has this driver been involved in any claims or accidents in the last 3 years?" the answer is no.
If the question is "Has any driver named on this policy been involved in any claims or accidents in the last 3 years?" the answer is yes.

Phone and ask.

If it's irrelevant, the premium won't change.
If the premium changed, you were at risk of the policy being cancelled when they found out.

Yes you do and your NCD will have been reduced too, unless you had it protected. It's your policy that was claimed on.
