I just bought a motorcycle yesterday and just noticed this morning that the MOT tester must have forgot to sign the certificate after the test was done back in march this year.
Will the certificate be technically invalid? or should it be OK?
I can easily contact the testing centre and ask them to send me a signed copy by post,it is about 90 miles from where I live.

As long as the MOT is on the system I'd be amazed if anyone ever asked to see the paper copy.

The "certificate" isn't, and hasn't been for four years - it's just a receipt to confirm the primary record, the online one. If it's showing on https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ then that's what actually matters.

I remember reading when the system changed that it's just a receipt - although confusingly it does say "certificate" on it.

Just scribble something on it if you're worried, it's not like anyone is ever going to look at it or contest the signature

You can go into any MOT station and get a reprint, it costs £10 normally.

What would be the point of doing that?
The reprint still wouldn't have the missing signature on it

it doesn't need a signature to be valid.

The MOT tester doing the duplicate signs it. I wouldn't bother doing anything, OP.
