Insurance settlement - legal terms translated into layman's
Discussion
Hi I have just received a document from my insurance company regarding the settlement of a claim following a recent accident I had. But it's a bit vague and just wondered if anybody could shed some light into what it means sooner than im able to phone them up and ask for an explanation.

We have received notification from your insurance company advising that this claim has been settled on the following basis:
Accidental Damage Payments: None
Third Party Payments: None
No Claims Bonus: Not Prejudiced
Your No Claims Bonus may not be affected if you have bonus protection, subject to policy terms and conditions.
More so really regarding the no claims bonus. Accidental Damage Payments: None
Third Party Payments: None
No Claims Bonus: Not Prejudiced
Your No Claims Bonus may not be affected if you have bonus protection, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Your insurance company hasn't made any payments on the claim and your NCB is unaffected.Document said:
