Just a quick question.

Daughters school trip- The coach was very late the other day as the wipers stopped working in heavy rain.

The driver chose to drive on slowly but should he of called for a replacement vehicle and recovery of the defective coach or not?

Now edited sorry did it on my phone!

Possibly.
He may have done an on the hoof risk assessment and decided it was safer to proceed with caution that to load/unload a coach full of kids in bad weather. This risk assessment may well have produced and less than optimal output but no harm done.

I didn't say anything about it being 50/50.

If there had been an accident then any injuries would have been covered under motor insurance and if the driver/company were seriously negligent then criminal prosecution is a possibility.

Unusual dictionary in your phone. I'd suggest that you turn the autocorrect off if it's that bad.

I once got called in to take a load of school kids from Reading to Devon because their coach was broken down at the services. When I got there it turned out his wipers were fecked. Would have been bloody dangerous to drive without them.

Jesus OP, do you spend all your life looking for ways to complain about the driving of others?

Coaches in the wet, coaches through roundabouts, lorries at 22mph...... where does it end?

WTF. Are you really saying you are complaining that there was no accident, or are you just trying to raise a lynch mop for no reason?

If it's the same coach company that he complained about a few months back then I'm guessing he's going into full ballistic vengeance mode.

I really don't understand how people get this wrong. Perhaps it's related to "I done that". I imagine it's hard to learn that "done" needs to follow "have/had" if you don't know that "could've" is not "could of".
