Landlords insurance question
Discussion
No to both. The house is no longer habitable. You no longer house them but they no longer pay you rent.
They go and live somewhere else and pay someone else rent, and you should insure for loss of rent under your insurance, as that's an additional loss on top of the damage to the building.
