s59(x2) doesn't necessarily mean having your car crushed.
s59(x2) then not paying the fee (£150 for seizure, £20/day for storage) to get your car back again is what means having your car crushed or sold (and another £75 for the pleasure).

The simple solution, of course, is not to drive like a dangerous cocksocket in the first place, and simply give other road users sufficient space. It's not exactly difficult, ffs.

If you drive like you write on here then you should have your car taken away...

In all honesty it'll maybe happen one or two time max, but why is it so difficult for people to give other road users safe space?

I hate those pesky compets clogging the roads up, crumpets are fine however.

It's difficult in my opinion to tell how close they were but given the road, oncoming traffic parked cars I agree that I see nothing wrong with the passes. Had the cyclist not wanted them to pass then he should have been further out from the parked cars.

I think drivers could have read from the cyclists road position that he was keeping in to the parked cars to allow them space to pass.

given the above it should have been perfectly obvious to anyone that there was not enough room to safely pass and yet people on here bang on how it's cyclists that need training. Clearly driver training isn't achieving much.

You're supprised because your ability to understand risk is poor.

Yeah, not difficult by your own standards, but someone else's?

Only if the world of H&S is always based on an accurate understanding of risk. Which is a laughable suggestion.

so nobody ever pulls in front of motorcyles and no pedestrian has ever been hit by a car while walking on a pavement?

Had I been that cyclist I wouldn't have been worried in the slightest, both passes looked fine to me.
