SPECS speed cameras do they flash?

Hey guys,

Was coming back from work in Nottingham city centre this evening and may have been going a little over 30mph (33mph) on the London Road A60 towards west bridgford.

There was no flash but from what I've read these cameras are average speed cameras but how is this possible when there is no signage saying this?

Could it be that they are in fact regular speed cameras?

Anyway I'll be sitting tight waiting to see if anything turns up in the post which is literally the worst feeling ever!

Just slowing down to go through them is not enough.

33mph, I'd not worry.

SPECS are indeed average speed cameras - they don't flash and, likewise all other speed enforcement devices, no signage or advanced warnings of their presence are required.

Thanks, that's interesting I thought for average speed cameras the relevant signage is required.

Well never mind I'll keep an eye out for the post. Whenever this happens my mind goes blank as to what was actually happening at the time and why I feel like I might have been going over the limit!

if you were doing 33mph as per the speedometer in your car I honestly wouldn't worry.
